WARM-UP FREEBIE

Our warm-ups aren’t just about “getting warm.” If players are only jogging laps and doing static stretches, they’re missing a huge opportunity to activate the nervous system, prime key muscle groups, and reduce injury risk before intensity ramps up.

Training warm-ups should prepare the body for the exact movement demands of the session ahead. Especially in colder conditions, we want to raise core temperature first through running-based work, then layer in dynamic patterns, activation, and movement prep so players are warm, switched on, and ready to move well.

Game-day warm-ups are different. The goal isn’t fatigue or fitness — it’s readiness. Players need to feel sharp, fast, and confident without burning through energy before the first whistle.

This free warm-up resource gives coaches clear, structured options for both training and game day — so preparation is purposeful, efficient, and actually supports performance when it matters most.
